Tishman Pays Off Debt at 52 Cents on the $1

Global real estate investor Tishman Speyer bought back the debt on the Dublin Corporate Center for about half the value of the loan.
The firm paid $121 million and borrowed $105 million to buy the three-building, 440,000-square-foot property in 2007. Now it has agreed to pay $55 million to lender Eurohypo, a German conglomerate, to settle the debt.
